Afghan troops have fled the country in U.S. supplied military aircraft.  Neighboring Uzbekistan has reported that hundreds of Afghan troops have crossed the border in 22 planes and 24 helicopters.  After the Taliban took over the country last weekend, the fleeing troops sought refuge in the northern airspace of Uzbekistan.  During the flight, it has been reported that one Afghan plane collided with an Uzbek escort.  Both pilots were able to eject from their aircraft and survived.
